Mr Chandra qualified from the University of Glasgow in 1988. He then spent a year working as a house officer at Glasgow Dental Hospital, followed by a further 6 years as an associate in a practice in Glasgow.
Mr Chandra took over ownership of Iriston House Dental Practice in 1996. Now approaching his 25th year in Bathgate, he is continuing to develop the practice and was awarded the British Dental Association Good Practice Award for the last 3 years.
Mr Chandra was a trainer on the Vocational Training scheme for recent graduates and used to lecture at Edinburgh Dental Institute. His special interests are prosthetics (dentures) and restorative dentistry.
Mr Chandra is married with two children and enjoys playing golf, football and socialising with friends.
